The Kincsem Palace, built at the end of the 19th century, is one of the most beautiful downtown palaces of Budapest, where luxurious soirees were held and European royalty visited.

The Kincsem Palace is one of the most beautiful and most famous downtown palaces in Budapest, with a history dating back to the end of the 19th century. It was built in 1878 by Ernő Blaskovich, who was not only the owner of the palace but also the proud owner of the legendary Kincsem racehorse. The palace was the venue for sumptuous banquets, attended not only by the Hungarian aristocracy but also by European royalty such as the Prince of Wales, the German Emperor and the King of Spain.

We are now reopening our doors to the public to make this special atmosphere accessible to all.

In 2022, Kincsem Palota opened a new chapter in its history. The careful renovation of the palace has been carried out with the aim of preserving its architectural heritage. The necessary modernisation has been carried out in a way that does not damage the original patina and atmosphere. The interior of the palace features many areas with original paintings and coverings that transport the visitor back in time.

The renovated Treasure Palace has opened its doors as an exclusive event venue. The historic setting, complete with modern technical equipment and professional catering services, is the ideal venue for corporate events, weddings, family events, exhibitions, concerts, press conferences and private gatherings.

Although the plans for the house were drawn up before the horse's first appearance on the track, his popularity was clearly due to the success of the racehorse. When Kincsem wasn't on the track, he lived in the stables built for him in the inner courtyard of the house, which can still be seen today. We have commemorated this with a life-like sculpture by sculptor Géza Nagy.
